Meet your coach

Hi, Im Brynn

I help people to heal their trauma through IFS coaching  so they can move out of survival mode, reclaim their power, and create the life they are truly meant to live.

I See You…

Struggling the way that I did, on a mission to heal, without any real, lasting change in sight.

Frustrated and on the border of hopelessness as you find yourself coming up against the same patterns and problems again and again.

Looking for the magical solution that will solve it all in book after book and program after program, but coming up short.

Wanting to give up, but holding on to that tiny ember of hope that you still have inside.

Beginning to deny that you even want the relationship, the career, the money, the house, the dream life… because you feel like it’s impossible that you could really have it.

Pushing through and showing up for others, giving from an empty cup, feeling burnt out, and hoping that someone is going to come save you from this vicious cycle of exhaustion.

This Does Not Have To Be Your Path…

You don’t have to struggle any longer, trying to find something outside of yourself to fix you. The truth is you were never broken in the first place – you were impacted by trauma. This life thing is no joke, and all of us experience some sort of trauma in our lives, even if you feel like yours isn’t as big as others. I totally get it, because I was too, just like you.

You want to find your way out of this confusing labyrinth of healing and self help but feel lost and you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. You know that there has to be another way. That deep inside of you there is an authentic version of you that is free from all of the patterns that you feel stuck under, but you don’t know how to find them or if it’s even possible any more.

Here Is My Story…

I couldn’t have named it at the time, but after sifting through my own personal mythology and finding clarity, I see now that I grew up steeped in trauma, disconnection & the effects of the familial disease of alcoholism. As a symptom, most of my life I struggled deeply with my mental health, addiction issues, relationships & eventually, chronic illness. There were moments when I didn’t know if I would ever find a way out from under it all. Eventually I got into enough pain that I was willing to do anything... and so my own healing journey began.

My Hero’s Journey Begins

A pivotal point in my journey is when I got sober from alcohol. I come from a long line of people deeply affected by the disease of alcoholism. And on September 26th 2015 I became the first to choose life instead of running from it. Getting sober wasn’t the solution to everything that I was up against, but it was the keystone for me to be available to face everything else.

Lyme Disease

After struggling with mysterious symptoms and chronic health issues for well over a decade, in 2019 I was diagnosed with lyme disease. I had no idea what I was up against at the time. Lyme disease is one of the most misunderstood and challenging illnesses to treat. As I write this, it is officially considered an epidemic. I had doctors tell me that I would have it for the rest of my life, and others tell me that it isn’t real — that it was all in my head. Somewhere along the way I realized that nobody was coming to save me from this thing — I had to learn to save myself. I began to find empowerment and learned to listen to my body’s own innate intelligence & inner guidance system. I learned to advocate for myself in ways that I had never imagined possible. My journey brought me to the other side of the world and to the deepest parts of myself to find healing.

Coaching

On my way to wellness, I needed so so much support... from therapists to sponsors to teachers and ultimately, from a coach. I started working with my coach in the depths of my lyme journey and it changed everything. Having that 1:1 support allowed me to fast track my healing. It is my experience that in order to heal from a complex illness like lyme disease, we need to be willing to look at not just what’s happening on a physical level — but what is happening mentally, emotionally & spiritually as well. It is the people that are willing to do this deep work that I see get well again & again. And it is invaluable to have someone in your corner that has walked that path in their own life. I began coaching people as a way of paying it forward. To shine the light of hope and possibility into the dark for others. Along the way my coaching practice has grown from supporting people with lyme and other chronic illnesses, to relationship alchemy, to addiction & trauma support, to spiritual growth, to living bigger & more authentic lives.

IFS

As my health really began to turn a corner, I found IFS. I came across a book on my best friend’s book shelf, entitled You Are the One You’ve Been Waiting For by Dr. Richard Schwartz. At the time, I was in a challenging place with my partner. I felt drawn to the book. As I got into bed that night, I opened up the book. I couldn’t put it down and devoured it in 2 days. I hadn’t heard people speak about trauma and parts through this lens before, and it wasn’t my first rodeo with a therapeutic model. This perspective and way of looking at ourselves spoke to me deeply and I knew that I needed to experience IFS. I began working with an IFS practitioner and they helped me break through patterns and blocks that I honestly didn’t even know were possible to access. The dramatic shifts that took place in my life both internally and externally were so profound that I knew that I wanted to support others with IFS and the rest is history! Once I became trained in holding this space for others, I began integrating it into my coaching practice and the results that I have seen in my clients’ lives are truly remarkable.

Life Now

These days I live a big, beautiful life. I am a mother to a magical little boy and am engaged to marry a wonderful man. I teach yoga and lead workshops & yoga retreats in Los Angeles, Austin, Boulder & beyond. I coach clients using IFS, all over the world. It is my purpose & privilege to support others as they navigate their own hero’s journeys. I know first hand what it is like to feel lost in the dark. I now get to shine the way for others as they may make their way through, into the light.
